Flavor of the Week

Week of October 5th

Hey Everyone!

            It is time for the Flavor of the Week again! For those that are newer to the Student Ministry, the Flavor of the Week goes out once a week to give an update to parents and students of activities that are coming up. Each week, I highlight letters that can be unscrambled to form a flavor of soda (used to be ice cream). The first three students to unscramble the letters and reply with the correct response receives a candy prize at FUSION the following Sunday.

            The big event this week is for middle school students. We are going to the Corn Maze in Dayton with WyldLife (YoungLife for Middle School). The group should meet at the warehouse at 6pm and they will return by 10pm. While at the corn maze, students will play games, go through the maze, eat pizza, and hear a message from a WyldLife speaker. It should be a great time for everyone. The cost is $15 and each student needs a WyldLife permission slip available on the homepage.

            The retreat information is now out, too. Brochures for the two retreats are available at the Student Ministry Center in the foyer of the warehouse. If you have any questions, please contact me. The registration deadline is Oct. 20 for high school and Oct. 27 for middle school.
